Does RO system remove beneficial minerial?
RO system is design to remove all mineral. City water has chlorine and fluoride added to the water. Chlorine is used to kill bacteria along the pipe from the water plant. Fluoride is added for your teeth cleaning. Brushing your teeth regularly will eliminate the need for fluoride. Other minerals are absorbed through daily diet.
Can you install RO system for my entire house?
While pure water is great for everything, it is also difficult to product. Protoclean 5 uses a ratio of 1:3. Meaning for every liter of clean water made, 3 liters of water is wasted. The system can generate 75gallon/day only. While larger system can generate more, using RO water for everything is not necessary and can be very wasteful.
How much water does RO system waste?
Protoclean 5 will has a waste ratio of 1:3. 1 part clean water, and 3 parts wasted water. The benefit of the amount of water bottle saved by using this system exceed the water wasted in the production of RO water.
